We are pleased to announce that version 7.6 is now available for all commercial editions! This release will significantly benefit customers through the following features:
First version of Sugar 7.x to support new installations on MSSQL, IIS, and Oracle
Calls and Meetings have been updated to use the improved Sidecar framework
Sugar Process Author, which allows administrators to design and build business process workflows using an intuitive, drag-and-drop interface directly within Sugar (Enterprise and Ultimate only)
Role-based record views to allow administrators to configure views for different business units within the organization (Enterprise and Ultimate only)
Administrators may now choose to enable Opportunities with Revenue Line Items or use Opportunities only (Enterprise and Ultimate only)
Column sizes for list views and subpanels may now be adjusted
Sugar Health Check to assist in upgrades to ensure customizations are compatible with the Sugar 7.6

7.6 will support upgrades from 7.5.x, 6.7.x, and 6.5.x. Customers hosted in our On-Demand environment will receive further communication regarding their automatic upgrades shortly. Customers hosting their Sugar instance on their own servers can review the installation and upgrade instructions for these releases, found at the following links:

Sugar 7.6 is compatible and supported for customers running a LAMP server stack. New installations of Sugar can also be performed on Windows, IIS, and MSSQL stacks. Please visit the Supported Platforms page for a complete list of supported configurations. Upgrades from 6.5.x on non-LAMP stacks will be available in subsequent 7.x releases. Changes to supported platforms include the additions of:
Added support for Windows Server 2012, Windows 7
Added support for IIS 8.0
Added support for Oracle 11g R2, 12c
Added support for DB2 10.5
Added support for MSSQL 2008 R2, 2012
Added support for Elastic Search 1.4.4
Removed APC from recommended stack configuration
Updated versions of Firefox, Safari, and Chrome
