ADVANCED ORCHESTRATION
FOR SNOWFLAKE

Data Orchestration is one of the critical points to successfully deploying Snowflake.

There have long been tools on the market for orchestration but many fall short of being able to deal with the potential downstream errors you find in a typical event. On top of that, generating stable Orchestration code is often overwhelming for mere mortals to execute.

In this presentation Kyle Moon-Wright from Prefect will shares how to solve the most common gaps in existing orchestration deployment such as:

• DAGs which need to be run off-schedule or with no schedule at all
• DAGs that run concurrently with the same start time
• DAGs with complicated branching logic
• DAGs with many fast tasks
• DAGs which rely on the exchange of data
• Parametrized DAGs

Arkady Kleyner from Intricity demonstrates how Prefect DAG's can be auto-generated using the Data Warehousing Automation capabilities inside of BladeBridge Studio. This will generate the Snowflake SQL and Prefect code as a push-button event.
